Hello Ladies,
I am happy to announce an upcoming watercolor painting class with Sharon Scott. Many of you have expressed a desire for another painting class, so I found the Coastside’s best watercolorists to teach in the Greenhouse. This will be an intimate class of 6 women, so please RSVP as soon as possible.
Sunday was the last gathering for The Artist Way Women’s Circle. It was a big commitment to gather in circle for 12 Sunday mornings and write morning pages every day. I stayed true to my commitment of writing for 15 minutes every morning. I filled a notebook with morning musings and must have written over 10,000 words. Last week, I went back and read my morning ramblings and highlighted the essence statements. I’ve edited it down to just the essence and shared it with you today.
Morning Pages Essence
A clear channel calls me to create a Utopian Art school that is powered by pure imagination, led by the divine feminine, and Muse is the head Mistress. In this place, we are grounded and connected. We clear static noisy chatter and tune into wisdom, laughter, sensations, and emotions that nurture our spirit with self-care.
My mind is still enough to be astonished by the vibrant currents of aliveness within me. The essence of my being aligned and whole.
I dismiss fear and relegate it to the shadows. I refuse to participate in the chaos of “crazy town.” I walk in the footsteps of the Masters, while drawing from their wisdom and insight, I infuse each step with my own unique light.
Each day’s creative work informs the next. I recognize the value and need for my work in today’s modern world. Embracing my role as a wise woman, I cherish the childlike joy of artistic expression, presence, and freedom, complemented by my laser focus.
