Spring equinox art retreat

Hello Ladies,

We are on the cusp of Spring, and the Greenhouse gatherings are in full swing. Gathering in a circle of women is a significant step toward wholeness.

You’re invited to our annual Vernal Equinox half-day art retreat, Saturday March 22nd.

Below is a little video from last year’s retreat.

In these eight weeks, we will use watercolor and acrylic paint, create unique stamps with lino carvings, sew, explore different printing papers and canvas, work with polymer clay, and use gold leaf along with various sealing finishes.

No previous experience necessary. Limited to 6 women.

We will gather in the Moon Mothers Greenhouse

Blank journal and art tote bag included cost $200

Last night, we gathered in the Greenhouse for, full moon ceremony, dedicated to the goddess Ixchel, Mayan medicine woman. We celebrated the last full moon of winter and the year’s first lunar eclipse. A transcendent energy of enlightenment enveloped us, enhanced by the fragrant smoke of sage smudging that perfumed the air. The ancient story of Ixchel was lovingly retold. We chanted the Grandmothers song, as we created prayer flags. After rising from our chakra clearing meditation, our seventh chakra radiated a million points of light, forging a connection that linked our divine wisdom to the universal mind. Within this sacred circle, each woman shared her truth with clarity and conciseness, allowing the vivid presence of the Muse to be embodied. In this ceremony, we embraced our personal genius, guided by the divine feminine spirit of Ixchel. Below are a few images from our sacred circle.

Grandmothers chant, amazing orbs dancing among us

In these last weeks of winter, we’ve returned to our yoga practice. There’s a primal strength by being thinly sheltered amidst the unstable weather. We find stability on our mat as we honor our bodies and the wild elements. There is space for you in this sacred place.

‘Til we meet again, may you remain grounded during this time of transition, from winter to spring.

Sincerely,

Tamara Trejo
