Hello Ladies,
You’re invited to a couple of sweet circles in the Greenhouse.
Summer Solstice Retreat
Dedicated to Aphrodite
Saturday June 21st. 10:30am to 1pm $40
Moon Mothers Greenhouse

To embody the spirit of Aphrodite is to journey through the world with eyes wide open, and to radiate love and contagious joy. She invites us to navigate our surroundings with such keen senses. We can almost smell through our eyes. We can feel through our ears. We can understand through touch. Aphrodite beckons us to gather in circle, for sacred rituals of adornment and divine feminine connection.
Watercolor class
Saturday June 28th. 10:30am to 12:30pm
I am happy to announce an upcoming watercolor painting class with Sharon Scott. Many of you want another painting class. I found the Coastside’s best watercolor artist to teach in the Greenhouse.

Engaging in the poetry of watercolor is a delightful way to spend a Saturday morning. You can explore the magic and mysteries of watercolor while enjoying the soft delicateness of this medium. Experience creating depth and dimension simply by painting highlights and shadows in this watercolor class.
This intimate gathering is limited to 6 women. Please RSVP soon to reserve your space. You can call or text Sharon at (650) 787-6467.
After eight weeks of creating Art Journals we held our final presentation circle on Friday. Once the ladies set up for their presentations, I entered the Greenhouse. I felt like I was in a barefoot modern art museum, observing a contemporary play. At the same time, there was a new book launch reading. The moments were so rich. They brought tears and giggles. We dove into the sacred and mystical mysteries of life. The gifts were received with a tender heart, giving me a feeling of completeness.
Below is a slideshow encapsulating our eight weeks together.
Then, after that high-energy day, Deb Perry led a restorative yoga class on Sunday afternoon. It was a wonderful opportunity to reset. It allowed me to begin anew.

It was my first experience with restorative yoga. I found it to be a profound reset. It allowed me to dive deeply into my body. Initially, quieting my “monkey mind” was challenging. Holding the restorative poses helped my architect mind settle. My focus turned inward to my body. I wasn’t napping; I was fully awake yet deeply relaxed. My planning thoughts transformed into breath, awareness of my body, and the soothing sounds of birds singing. A rich wave of gratitude and presence washed over me. It was akin to a good soft watercolor mop brush gently laying down the first beautiful hue of a fresh sketch on the finest paper. It was a delightful experience. This restorative yoga session was a special one-time class, though Deb might offer it again later in late summer. If you’re inclined to practice yoga in the Greenhouse, you can always join us for our regularly scheduled classes. They are on Wednesday mornings from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. and Monday evenings from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. More info link.
’til we meet again, enjoy the vibrant beauty and sweet scent of the flowers this season offers.
Sincerely,
