It’s quite unusual for it to rain all day in August in Half Moon Bay. Yesterday we gathered in the warm, dry, and humid Greenhouse for our SoulCollage workshop, and the experience was surreal. The Greenhouse is nestled beneath a giant shade tree, which caught tiny raindrops until they became too heavy to hold, then released them swiftly onto the polycarbonate roof. It sounded like heavenly applause as we crafted our SoulCollage cards. The rapid sound of rain made me laugh and infused the air with a sense of mild excitement.
