As we arrive at the final full moon of 2025, I find myself looking back on the circles, gatherings, and quiet rituals that shaped our year. Each gathering held its own kind of magic, guiding us through seasons of growth, reflection, and renewed spirit. In this writing of the year, I’m honoring those moments — the intentions we set, the wisdom we shared, and the ways we continued to rise in community.

As I look back, I’m reminded of how our year began in a season of deep dreaming. We honored that beautiful space where imagination becomes intention. The Moon Mothers Greenhouse — once only a vision of a sanctuary for women to create, gather, and ground — truly came alive with all of you.
This year we filled the Greenhouse with SoulCollage, yoga, full-moon ceremonies, artist retreats, music, watercolor and clay workshops. Each gathering was shaped by our shared creativity, curiosity, and willingness to show up for ourselves and for one another.
I’m grateful for the way we dream together. Those early winter stirrings led us into a year rich with art, spirit, and sisterhood — and I carry the warmth of those moments with me still.
As I sit here recalling it all — warm cup in hand, tucked into my favorite cozy spot — I realize this reflection grew into something a bit longer, a bit deeper. It felt right that way. My hope is that when you read it, you do so in your own soft moment… whenever the time is right, and never in a hurry.
With the gentle return of light and the first stirrings of awakening after winter’s rest. The January Spirit Quest invited us to ask bold questions of our dreams and deepest desires, and to craft a collage that became a visual map of our hopes for 2025. Rooted in intuition and universal guidance, it set the tone for a year of clarity, trusting abundance, and planting intentions — much like the simple New Year’s ritual of placing bulbs in the earth, knowing they will bloom in time.

And who could forget our SoulCollage circle — those powerful “I am the one who…” cards, each one revealing a story only the soul could tell. Those were gatherings of creativity, and gentle awakening, and I still feel the warmth of those moments shared in community.

Remember when we gathered under the final full moon of winter, honoring Ixchel with renewed reverence after my time in her sacred landscape. That ceremony carried a sense of return, of lineage, of remembering the divine threads that guide us. The air thick with sage, we chanted the Grandmothers’ song, crafted prayer flags, and opened ourselves through meditation. It was a circle where truth was spoken with courage, and the Muse moved easily among us.
As Ostara’s energy unfurled, our circles grew more alive. I remember how early spring lifted all of us this year — daffodils brightening the Coastside long before the Equinox, gently urging our spirits awake. We stepped back into movement and connection with the return of Yoga in the Greenhouse, welcoming women of every level to breathe, stretch, and come home to themselves.

Spring arrived in full bloom. Our first Sagehood Art Journal circle reflected that spirit beautifully — a mix of returning artists and new faces, coming together like a fresh spring garden in vibrant, unfolding color. The Greenhouse was buzzing with creativity and connection. The weeks unfolded with our Sagehood Art Journal, creative journey where we followed our Muse through the evolving stages of our lives. Through mixed-media art , we traced the threads of our stories and uncovered the wisdom, and symbols that shape our lives.

In May, we continued gathering in the Greenhouse to move, create, and reconnect with ourselves. Our yoga practice and art circles reminded us how alive the spirit feels in community, where inspiration flows more freely than when creating alone. Together we shaped clay goddess talismans, Eva shared tips, tools, and let the simple joy of making fill the space. It was a sweet, grounded moment in the heart of spring — a month of tending both body and soul.

After eight luminous weeks of Sagehood Art Journal, we gathered for our final presentation circle and transformed the Greenhouse into a barefoot modern art museum. Our books, pages, and stories carried tears, laughter, and the sacred mysteries of our lives, leaving a feeling of deep completeness.

We continued to nurture our well-being through deep rest of restorative yoga. Deb led us in a lovely practice for remembering your wholeness. Allowing body and mind to rest deeply and sweetly. Stress, tension, and anxiety melted away as we made contact with the peace within. (No picture, because I was resting too deeply)
At the Summer Solstice, we paused together in a soft, feminine retreat dedicated to Aphrodite. In that warm circle, we heightened our senses through simple, relaxing rituals and even created a shared 3’x6’ painting using only our hands and feet — a playful way to honor grace, sensuality, and creative flow. It was a tender mid-year moment, inviting us to slow down, feel deeply, and welcome the sweetness of summertime as we stepped gently into the second half of the year.

And just after the Equinox, Sharon’s watercolor class carried us forward with its gentle flow — her fresh guidance brushing new color into our creative year.
In July, the fog sheltered my garden from the summer sun while I went in search of the sun. As my birthday month arrived, I gave myself the gift of simple escapes — little daycations that let me soak in warmth, play, and reconnect with my inner child. It was a month of replenishment, color, and floating in the sweetness of summer, letting the light restore what the fog had dimmed.

A rare all-day August rain turned our SoulCollage gathering into something dreamlike. Beneath the great shade tree, raindrops burst onto the Greenhouse roof like “heavenly applause” as we created together. The sound, the laughter, and the shared creativity made the day feel beautifully surreal.

As the full moon and quiet lunar eclipse passed overhead, we began to feel autumn approaching even before the Equinox arrived. A simple pumpkin spice latte marked the shift — the first delicious hint of the season ahead. We looked forward to gathering in the Greenhouse for our Autumn Equinox retreat, and to the inspiring women’s retreats offered by beloved teachers. It was a gentle moment of transition, inviting us to soften and welcome the turning of the year.

At the Autumn Equinox, we gathered during the new moon and solar eclipse portal to honor Maat, the Egyptian goddess of balance. Through ritual, sound bath meditation, art, and movement, we lightened our hearts for the season’s shift. The following evening, we continued the celebration with candlelight yoga — a gentle way to cross from summer into autumn with intention and ease.

In November, as the season darkened, we turned inward beneath Vesta’s full moon. Reseeding the greenhouse lawn became a reflection of the quiet dreams beginning to form for the year ahead. With gratitude for home, family, and all we created together in 2025, I lit the hearth and invited you, Moon Mothers Tribe to imagine what new circles might bloom in 2026.

Though my soul had already turned toward home for the season, my spirit still had one last short journey to make — the Unleashing Your Inner Mystic retreat, led by my mentor and modern-day prophet, Jan Phillips, at the Prince of Peace Abbey in San Diego.
And then came the sweetest surprise: our dear Moon Mother Holle, who moved to SoCal six years ago, arrived to join us.
Pure joy — to be in circle with her once again.

As the last full moon of 2025 rises, may we carry the light of this year’s circles within us — the creativity we sparked, the balance we found, the quiet dreams now taking root. May the winter months cradle you with rest, clarity, and the soft promise of what is yet to unfold. Trust the seeds you’ve planted, the wisdom you’ve tended, and the gentle way your spirit keeps blooming.
’Til we meet again in the new year, may inspiration visit often, may courage guide your steps, and may your heart remain open to every small miracle waiting in the wings.
And may you be inspired to gather with us in the Greenhouse for personal enlightenment through artistic expression.
Sincerely,
