Happy first full moon of the new year. After a spacious winter rest, I feel wide awake and energized for this brand-new year. In Chinese tradition, 2026 is the Year of the Horse — strong, powerful, and ready to move forward. We now say goodbye to 2025, the Year of the Snake, a time of shedding old skin and releasing what no longer serves us.
In numerology, 2026 is a Year Number One:
2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10 → 1 + 0 = 1.
A number one year symbolizes fresh starts, new beginnings, and bold forward motion.
I find it all so fascinating — the many mystical systems that guide cultures across the world. Yet no matter how you look at it, one thing is certain: the light is returning to the Northern Hemisphere, and with it, the awakening energy of the divine feminine.
