Hello Ladies,
I can see it and feel it everywhere.
Yes—change is coming.
Let’s gather in circle to honor this turning of the season with divine feminine ritual, art, and movement, welcoming the arrival of spring.

Yesterday was Imbolc, a Celtic holy day marking the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. It was also a full moon. As the women arrived in the Greenhouse for our SoulCollage® circle, I could feel a ripe optimism moving among us, subtle and alive.
The creative energy opened like a daffodil bud unfurling into bloom. The cards that emerged were small works of art—each one speaking in quiet symbols of hopefulness, confidence, conviction, and promise. Beneath it all was a shared knowing: something is stirring, both within us and in the world, and it is beginning to rise.
Below are a few images from our gathering.

“Holding beauty does not mean turning away from truth.” Since the election, I haven’t been able to sit with the talking heads on the news. I stay informed through headlines only. I also haven’t marched in a political rally since a gathering in honor of George Floyd in 2020. But last week was a tipping point.
I could no longer remain in a utopian bubble of art-making. I could no longer ignore the atrocities unfolding in our country. I felt called to add my voice to the resistance against ICE and to become part of a revolution rising in response to the brutal policies of a weak man.
On Saturday, I rendezvoused with my son and daughter-in-law at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. There, we joined people from across Bay Area communities in a peaceful action to create a human banner—a living work of art protesting ICE. Shoulder to shoulder, we formed a deliberate message visible from above as drones hovered overhead, documenting our collective declaration:
“WE HAVE EYES—NO MORE LIES—ABOLISH ICE”
We stood in loving solidarity with our sisters and brothers in Minnesota. I dedicated my action to my close personal friend—a law-abiding caregiver—whose safety is no longer guaranteed. Speaking out against the injustice unfolding in America is not a choice I make lightly; it is my birthright.
Below is a very short video from the human banner.
Looking forward to better days. Sagehood Art Journal journey will begin on Friday, April 10th, and conclude on Friday, May 29th—an eight-week commitment to your Muse. I hope you’ll consider joining our circle.
’Til we meet again, May your soft voice be clearly heard. May you be guided by your Muse to create deeply personal art connected to the universe. And may you be inspired by the strength of the beautiful awakening bulbs, that push up and bloom every year no matter what.
Sincerely,
