Ixchell Medicine Moon Goddess
Ixchell whispers to us through her silent megaphone, “Go to the Redwoods when the moon is full. There you’ll find a circle of women. They too have heard my ancient call. It’s time to return to your natural frequency. Reset your innate rhythm, so you can walk through this modern world vibrating with healing energy. You are the chosen ones who will save the world.”
Mothers Earth’s silent song is a lullaby that puts us at ease so we can be the healers we are meant to be. She sings her constant vibrating song that is so easy to tune into. One only needs to quiet oneself and lay one’s body down on to her body, to tune into her healing song.
Ixchell teaches us that to be vital, just, return to the ancient rhythm of Mother Earth. Our body yearns to connect to our planetary source.
Living in this modern time of clocks, schedules, deadlines and all the demands of our American culture, it’s so easy to become untethered from Mother Earth’s natural pulsating heatbeat that is our true heartbeat.
So on this last full moon of Spring, a dozen California women head Ixchell’s call. We gathered in the mystical meadow among the Redwoods. To begin the healing reset process, we expressed ourselves by creating prayer flags, placing our healing heart’s artistic symbols on cloth. In honor of Ixchell the weaver, we sewed them together on one long strong thread.
Then we laid ourselves down on Mother Earth and tuned into her healing voice. To the beat of the Goddess drum the veil of the modern world was lifted and, we returned to our true earthy healing frequency.
